4.2.2. Gaziantep Meeting: Formation of Sub-Committees (March 10, 2023)
The second meeting of Turkish National Risk Shield Model was held
on March 10, 2023 in Gaziantep with the participation of all members of
13 committees under the chairmanship of Murat Kurum, the Minister of
Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change. The Gaziantep Meeting
has a special importance in terms of giving the model a corporate identity
and gathering it in the earthquake zone. At this meeting, the chairman of the
committee, advisory board, vice-chairman, general secretary, deputy general
secretaries were determined, 13 sub-committees were established to cover all
stages related to disasters, two rapporteurs who are experts were appointed
to each committee, the objectives and working principles of the committee
were decided.
