According to the data of Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and Climate
Change (Özhaseki, 2023b), it is expressed that construction of 180.000
residences and village houses has been started, 140.000 residences are under
the project designing process, construction of 120.389 of these residences are
undertaken by TOKİ and 21.921 of them are under the responsibility of Emlak
Konut GYO in Adıyaman province, project designing process is ongoing
for 4.000 residences while 37.129 village houses are constructed under the
responsibility of General Directorate of Construction Affairs, and project
designing studies are on the way for 32.871 houses, and totally 143.271 village
houses will be built in the earthquake region together with their barns. It is
also stated that about 100 village houses have been delivered in Belpınar and
Mesthüyük villages of Nurdağı district in Gaziantep and in the Özbek village
of Türkoğlu district in Kahramanmaraş.

Laying the foundation of 180.000 residences since February 21 is the most
concrete indicator that these residences and houses will be delivered to
beneficiaries within a year, along with infrastructure, public buildings, social
facilities, commercial areas, and it is the success of the policy being followed.
Of course, one of the most important elements of this process is related to
the planning issue. Planning works are meticiously conducted for a horizontal
construction process where each residence is planned as 3+1 with gross 105
square meters, and net 85 square meters, having minimum 3 or 4 floors plus
