in delivering my products to the customers. My machinery was damaged The building I perform my business activities was damaged. I lost my employees in the earthquake.

2.2.3. Call Center Survey
Within the scope of this study, telephone interviews were conducted with
approximately 11 thousand industrialists, who are members of the TOBB
Industrial Database, in the earthquake region and their damage conditions
were determined. At the end of the study, about 4 thousand industrialists
were reached. In addition, they were asked about the technical support for
starting the production again. Their expectations regarding the normalization
process were also compiled.
The percentage of industrialists who could continue production at the
address they were as of the day of filling in the survey is 81 percent, 19 percent
reported that they could not continue production.
35 percent of the industrial enterprises participated in the survey had
damage on their buildings, while 65 percent stated that there was no damage
on them. Looking through the damage status of the buildings, it is seen that
there are 57 collapsed buildings, 7 to be demolished urgently, 100 severely
damaged, 139 moderately damaged and 663 with a minor damage. On the
basis of provinces, the most severe damage is seen in Hatay, Kahramanmaraş,
Adıyaman and Malatya.
18 percent of the industrial enterprises surveyed stated that their machines
were damaged. 215 of the enterprises whose machines were damaged stated
that they needed technical support for the repair of damaged machines.
On the other hand, the machines of 45 industrial enterprises were in an
irreparable state.
