The loan usage of the earthquake zone provinces has a weight over the
deposit ownerships. Examining the shares of deposit ownership and loan
usage of the 11 provinces declared as disaster zones in the total of Türkiye, it
is seen that these provinces have 5.5 percent of the deposits in the banking
sector in total, and loan usage accounts for 8.2 percent of the banking sector
total. 2 out of 3 of the deposits and loan usage in the region belongs to Adana,
            Gaziantep and Hatay.

               2.2.2. Online Survey
An online survey was conducted at first, in order to detect the damage
conditions (building, machinery, human resource etc.) of the industrialists, who
are the member of TOBB Industry Database, in 11 provinces affected by the
earthquake. About 200 industrialists participated in this survey.
The rate of industrialists who were able to continue production as of the
day of filling the survey is 39 percent, 61 percent reported that they could
not continue production. 89 percent of industrialists stated that they plan to
restart production. 89 percent of industrialists expressed that their production
            quantities decreased after the earthquake.
When industrial enterprises were asked about the factors that negatively affected
their production, the most important impact was stated as the inability of employees
to work, the difficulties experienced in the supply of raw materials and intermediate
goods. These are followed by difficulties experienced in logistics in delivering
products to customers, damage to machinery and buildings.
