other provinces amounted to 38,767 (52.8 percent) in Adiyaman, 36,119 (19.2
percent) in Sanliurfa and 21 thousand and below in Osmaniye, Kilis, Elazig and
Diyarbakir.

The number of registered workplaces in the earthquake zone is 220,588
and its share in the total is 10 percent. When the SGK data are examined as
of the end of 2022, it is seen that more than half of the workplaces in the 11
provinces declared as disaster zones are registered in Adana, Gaziantep and
Hatay and constitute 10 percent of Türkiye average with a total of 220,558.
Looking through the distributions according to their scales, 86.6 percent
of the enterprises in the region are micro-sized enterprises with fewer than
10 employees in parallel with the country average. The share of small-scale
enterprises with employees between 10-49 is 11.1 percent, the share of
employers having 50-249 employees is 2 percent, and large-scale enterprises
with more than 250 employees has a share of only 0.4.
