The foreign organization of the Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Chan-
ge was established by Presidential Decree No. 27 dated 05/08/2021 and published in the
Official Gazette No. 31559. With the decision, a total of 10 Environmental, Urban Planning
and Climate Change Consultants will be appointed in 7 countries, namely the USA, Belgium,
France, Switzerland, Kenya, Russia and Qatar.

In line with the Net Zero Emission 2053 vision announced by President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan
to the world, in the Foreign Organization of the Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and Cli-
mate Change, which is a pillar of the structural transformation required by the green develop-
ment revolution a total of 10 Environmental, Urban Planning and Climate Change Consultants
will be appointed in 7 countries. It is aimed to represent Turkey in every continent through fo-
reign consultancy. Foreign consultants will follow all investments that will carry Turkey into the
future, from environmental investments to innovative construction technologies, from smart
city investments to climate-friendly new generation technologies. Consultancies which will in-
form the Turkish contracting companies that intend to invest abroad, will also undertake tasks
such as as providing coordination with the country to be invested in, producing solutions for
the problems that Turkish contracting companies may encounter abroad, examining the count-
ries where investment can be made from economic, political and bureaucratic aspects and
informing the relevant institutions and companies.

Consultants, who will also carry out studies to provide national and international loans, funds
and resources for investor companies, will facilitate the investor by establishing coordina-
tion with foreign administrations for the procurement of land in the foreign state where the
investment will be made, and will prepare country-based short and long-term investment
programs of the institutions affiliated to the Ministry and related institutions.
