Estimation of Co  Emission

               After RPK values are estimated based on three scenarios, fuel consumption
            was estimated using Equation (1). The FD value used in Equation (1) was
            estimated based on values given for the period till 2030. Detailed information
            on these estimations are given in Kaymak (2019). As seen in Figure 2, it is
            estimated that FD will decrease by 1,5% by 2030. Yearly fuel consumption was
            calculated using Equation (1)

               As part of the study, 3,153 ton CO /ton fuel value was used as the EF of the

            jet oil used by all the airlines in Türkiye (IPCC, 2006). Using Equation (2), yearly
            CO2 emissions were calculated.

               Results and Discussion

               The coefficients, standard errors, T statistics and P values of the independent
            variables used in the model utilized for air passenger traffic are given in Table 2
