The delegation made their second visit to Başiskele Kullar Advanced Biological Wastewater Treatment Plant in Kocaeli
and received detailed information about the studies of the plant. Başiskele Kullar Advanced Biological Waste Water

Treatment Plant, which treats the waste waters of Kartepe, Başiskele and İzmit districts, has a capacity of 166.450 m /
day. The integrated plant includes advanced biological treatment plant, sludge incineration and energy production
plant, solar power plant and recovery water facilities.
