           THE FIRST CLIMATE COUNCIL OF




           TURKEY WAS CONVENED IN KONYA








                 The first Climate Council of Turkey organized by the Ministry of Environment, Urbanization
                 and Climate Change took place in Konya. the final declaration of the Council, which hosts
                 many panels, commission meetings and events for 5 days, will be a roadmap for combating
                 climate change.

                             The first Climate Council of Turkey was organized by the Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and
                             Climate Change in Konya. At the council meeting, which hosted many panels and commission mee-
                             tings, all aspects of combating climate change were discussed. The Climate Tunnel, which was es-
                             tablished at the congress center where the council took place, showed the effects of climate change
                             to its visitors dramatically, and Minister Murat Kurum became the 210th climate ambassador by joi-
                             ning the climate movement of the youth.

                             The final declaration of the Climate Council, which is the most crowded summit in Turkey in terms of
                             the number of participants, attended by more than 10 thousand citizens, will be announced by Pre-
                             sident Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.



                             The declaration will be a roadmap for increasing renewable energy
                             sources, ensuring energy efficiency and reducing fossil fuels.
