Figure 4 and Table 1 demonstrate the locations and outcomes of different
avalanche cases that have occured in different years. The locations of the
avalanche events are marked from ‹V1› to ‹V12› on the map. The same
numbers are seen in Table 1 as well, with details concerning the year, injuries
and deaths concerning each avalanche case. Data concerning the avalanche
events recorded between the years, 1996 and 2020 reveal the existence of
cases resulting in serious casualties and injuries. The death of siz peolpel in
the avalanche case of 1996 has been an the most obvious event that displayed
the severity of the hazard risk in the region during this period. Likewise, there
were two deaths in two different avalanche cases in the yeari 2005, followed by
another death due to an avalanche in the year 2006 (Table 1)
These data reveal the severity of the avalanche hazard and the need for
emergency response, emphasizing the importance of hazard mapping and risk
analysis work.
