improvement, and access to funding, and Annex-2 countries were invited to
support Türkiye through a variety of channels concerning national strategy,
action, adaptation, and application of low emission strategies (UNFCCC, 2014).
Despite not having historical responsibility, Türkiye has been using its
resources to fight climate change. Although admitted as an Annex-1 country
as part of UNFCCC, which bears legal uncertainties, Türkiye exhibited
determination in its genuine fight against climate change, and admitted and
undersigned Paris Agreement (ÇŞB, 2020a). As a sign of its determination and
intent to fight climate change, Türkiye ratified Paris Climate Agreement on

               Results: “Green Transformation” for Solution

Due to the disruption of natural balance, our world is reacting against the
pressure on it. The increased precipitation, heat, fires, droughts, mucilage,
etc. are a natural outcome of this situation. It is human beings again that have
            to pay for these disasters.
According to the 2021 Emissions Gap Report (UNEP, 2021b) issued by the
UN Environment Program (UNEP), if the emissions continue with the same
trend, the global temperature increase by the end of the century will hit
            +2,70°C compared to pre-industrial period.
The 2018 IPCC Special Report on Global Warming of +1,5°C (IPCC, 2018)
points to the 0.5°C difference in global temperature increase, and states that
if the temperature increase hits $2°C instead of +1,50°C, the proportion of the
world population to be exposed to extreme heat globally will increase by 2,6
times, from 14% to 37%, causing a 6-cm increase in sea levels. The decrease
in sea fishing will double, reaching 3 million tons from 1,5 million tons of
loss. The study also warns against a variety of negative effects, from food
to weather conditions, and states that every increase results in a cumulative
            negative effect.
In this sense, it seems inevitable that the potential increase of +2,70°C
by the end of the century will cause irreparable damage. It is predicted that
incidents triggered by extreme heat such as increased droughts will in turn
lead to water and food crises, which will make way for large-scale migrations.
To meet the goals of Paris Climate Agreement, it is essential that global
