Regarding the Mw 5.8 magnitude earthquake that occurred offshore
of Silivri on September 26, 2019, participants were asked about what they
experienced during the earthquake (Figure 6). Some of the participants stated
that they were in their place of residence during the earthquake, while some
of them stated that they were in another district or neighborhood. Figure 6
shows the place of residence of the survey participants instead of the place
they are in at the time of the earthquake. Since the main axis of the study
was shaped in accordance with users’ assessment of the region and housing
they live in within the scope of earthquake risk in the light of the experiences
they have had so far, the information about where they experienced the
Silivri earthquake was not considered as a first priority. However, according to
the information obtained, the experiences of the survey participants can be
