The Contribution of Winds to Low Carbon Dioxide
Moriwaki and his team (Moriwaki et al., 2006) found that as the wind speed
increases, CO levels decrease and CO levels in the city’s air approach to

those of rural air in windy conditions. As it is known, air flows called winds
decelerate due to the friction between the air and the ground; therefore,
stronger winds are usually encountered while rising higher from the ground
(Yan-chun, 2014). This is the reason why anemometers measuring the speed
                                            12
of winds are placed in high places. In the settlement model from lowlands
to mountains, strong air flows can also contribute to the reduction of urban
            CO load.

12 In the “Communique on Wind and Solar Measurement Applications” published by the Energy
Market Regulatory Authority (Date: 17.06.2014; No: 29033), it is set out that “The length of the
wind measuring pole is at least 60 m.”.
