Settlement Model From Lowlands to Mountains
                                 May Prevent Carbon Dioxide Toxicity
Cities under the Carbon Dioxide Domes

There is a widespread but extremely incorrect idea that CO gas is
                                                                         2
distributed in the atmosphere in such an equal concentration all over the
world. Constant measurements show that the air covering the cities consists
of more CO than the air of rural areas, which are quite obvious in parts close
                       2
to the ground. (Idso et al., 1998; Idso et al., 2002; Zimnoch et al., 2004; Kiel et
al., 2021). This feature is called as “urban CO dome/plume” (Umezawa et al.,
                                                    2
2020; Kiel et al., 2021). In the article, this term will be referred to as “urban CO
                                                                                2
            dome” (Figure 2).

Idso and his team (1998) detected the presence of greater concentration
of CO in the measurements made in Phoenix , State of Arizona, compared
                  2
to the suburbans of the city. Data received from the OCO-3 (Orbiting Carbon
Observatory 3) device in NASA’s International Space Station revealed that
CO content in the air in the regions around city center of Los Angeles were
               2
significantly higher compared to the secluded deserts in the north of the city
                          2
(Kiel et al. 2021). Four separate studies conducted in Copenhagen, Paris, Rome
and Mexico City showed that CO in the air of cities emerges significantly from
                                         2
traffic (Soegaard and Moller-Jensen, 2003; Widory and Javoy, 2003; Gratani
and Varone, 2005; Velasco et al., 2005).

The Negative Effects of Carbon Dioxide on Human Health

Between each class at schools, breaks are given for students to enjoy
the open air. Those who are bored at home, at work, “go themselves out”.
“Getting away from the city” on weekends or longer holidays has become the
common desire of almost everyone living in cities. But why? Of course, there
