The vegetation in and around squares are important elements that increase
the quality of urban space. The trees in squares create a beautiful ambiance
as well as balancing the carbon footprint of the square. The filtering elements
situated around squares that will collect water provide the squares with spatial
definition as well as reducing the pressure on the infrastructure caused by
rain, and mechanisms that balance carbon. In fact, gray infrastructure is not
sufficient to include any of these elements to our squares. The general use
of green lines, green filters, vegetation and shallow dikes or organic mulch
by designers for water management in our squares are common sustainable
