Demet Gülhan
b. Manisa Kurşunlu Han
Kurşunlu Han is an Ottoman Han at the center of the historic quarter of
Manisa. It does not have a scripture referring to its date of construction.
Situated in the Hatuniye Mosque Külliye [islamic-ottoman social complex], the
Han was commissioned in the Ottoman Era by Hüsniyeşaz Hatun, the wife of
Beyazıt II (Gökçe, 2018).
Repeatedly exposed to damage as a result of natural disasters, Kurşunlu
Han has undergone various repairs throughout history. However, the original
plan scheme and the mass features of the structure have remained unchanged.
