climate change. For this reason, it is advisable to improve water infrastructure
and make the necessary investments properly on time. This does not involve
the use of materials only, but perhaps more importantly, there is also need
for the involvement of the relevant institutions, knowledge and services in
the process. Certain incentive decisions from upper level managements will
increase the overall productivity.

Results

The emerging effects of climate change and variations on human activities
depend on location, society, economy, industry, agriculture, water resources,
and etc.. It seems that more negative effects are bound to be observed if
the GHG emissions are not curbed in the future. This study presented briefly,
the changes in the chemical compound of the troposphere, the bottommost
layer of the atmosphere, due to GHGs, and the ensuing global warming and
climate change. After an overall evaluation of the issue, an insight is given
concerning the potential effects of climate change on Türkiye. The adaptation
activities against climate change are summarized and certain points of
advice are mentioned. The foreign sources of software studying the latitude,
longitude temperature and precipitation rates will not be enough to present
an accurate picture of Türkiye as for the climate change. Türkiye is situated
in an idiosyncratic region in terms of topographical and geomorphological
features. Thus, the mitigation and adaptation regulations must be developed
specifically for different regions of the country.
