               For this reason, the physical properties of seawater without mucilage,
            mucilage and mucilage-contaminated seawater were investigated (Sample No:
            S-1, S-3, S-5, and S-7). Analyses showed that oxygen concentration of sea snot is
            below measurement limits (O»0), pH value is between 6,70-6,94, thus it is acidic.
            The pH value of sea water is between 7.98-8.25. As a result of the factors such
            as contact with the atmosphere, mixture, temperature, photosynthetic activity,
            pH values for sea water becomes around 8.3 (Özyurt et al., 2001).
               The experiment was conducted by adding 5 grams of 20% nitrogen (N)
            and 20% phosphorus (P) composition into 5 liters of sea water. Here, it was
            observed that the pH value of sea water decreased to 7.13-7.25, while the
            pH value of mucilage dropped to 6.4. Here, it was seen that the pH value of
