net zero carbon goal for 2053 and the green development plan announced by
Recep Tayyip Erdoğan following the ratification of Paris Agreement by Türkiye
will reflect on all sectors.
Effective use of of greenhouse gas mitigation and climate adaptation
actions and strategies in the cities where these sectors operate will not only
provide climate resilience, but also enable green development. This will also
conribute to creating new job and employment opportunities Therefore, it is
essential to start green cities of the future today and act immediately; this is
especially important for the current generations as well as future generations
to lead a healthy and prosperous life.
