H.7. Environmental Qualification Activities
H.7.1. EIA Qualification Activities

Within the scope of the EIA Qualification Certificate Communiqué, the Ministry of Environment,
Urbanization and Climate Change examines the EIA Qualification Certificate requests made by
institutions/organizations in order to prepare the EIA Report, EIA Application File, Project Intro-
duction File and Project Progress Report, and certification procedures are carried out for those
that comply with the legislation. In addition, monitoring and auditing activities are carried out
for institutions that have the certificate within the scope of the Communiqué.

mental Management Units and Environmental Consultancy Firms

In order to ensure that facilities/activities carry out a more effective process to prevent envi-
ronmental pollution and to increase professionalism and efficiency in compliance with envi-
ronmental legislation, the concepts of “Environmental Officer”, “Environmental Consultancy
Firms” and “Environmental Management Units” have been developed, and it is aimed that
