talked about Türkiye’s

fight against marine
pollution.

The Minister of Environment,
Urbanization and Climate Change
Murat Kurum participated in the
Environment Meeting at Ministerial
level organized by the Organisation
for Economic Co-operation and
Development (OECD), on the second
day of his visit to Paris. During the
session titled “Harnessing Policies for
Sustainable Ocean Management”,
Kurum explained Türkiye’s efforts to
prevent marine pollution and noted
that the Mediterranean was one of
the 25 hot spots affected by climate
change in the world and more
than 180 million people lived under
pressure.
