Minister of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change Murat Kurum who was in London to attend the United King-
dom-Türkiye Green Financing Conference met with Alok Sharma, President of the 26th European Union Framework Con-
vention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) Conference of the Parties (COP26).
In the meeting, in which Türkiye’s efforts towards “2053 Net Zero Emissions” and “Green Development Revolution” targets
and projects to be carried out in order to access climate change financing were discussed, Minister Kurum stated that
the decisions taken in Glasgow were an important benchmark in the implementation period of the Paris Agreement.
