Evaluation of Desertification and Erosion Combat Efforts With Regards to
Paris Agreement Commitments and Net Zero Emission 2053 Targets
Table 1 shows the contributions of Türkiye’s strategic approaches within
the scope of combating desertification and erosion in line with the Paris
Climate Agreement and Türkiye’s 2053 Net Zero Emission targets. These
strategies highlight both the national and global benefits of efforts to combat
desertification and erosion.
